Our new Comprehensive Plan will guide future development and redevelopment. Our new Long Range Asset Preservation Plan will guide how we invest in City facilities to meet the community&rsquo;s needs. This is ambitious; however, by planning ahead, we can use resources efficiently to meet the expectations of community members to continue providing a high quality of life for many years to come.&rdquo; Said Kris Busse, City Administrator. </p><p>Community feedback and meaningful public engagement is essential to developing both plans so they accurately reflect the priorities of community members while also using tax dollars effectively and efficiently. </p><p class="jsx-456214529 jsx-2811794275 jsx-2530978106 responsive" data-testid="Paragraph">Owatonna&#39;s 2050 Comprehensive Plan will guide the community through growth and change for the next 20-plus years and how the City should evolve to benefit all community members.</p><h3><strong>How You Can Be Involved</strong></h3><p>The consultant guiding the comprehensive planning process is gathering findings as a foundation for the plan. This is being done through various focus groups, public events and online engagement tools. We need you, your friends and neighbors to help define a shared vision for Owatonna&#39;s future. Please take a moment to provide your Six-Word Story so it can be combined with the stories being gathered from across the community and used to shape the Comprehensive Plan.</p><p><strong>What do you envision?
